Privacy Policy

Overview

StudiPac (“we”, “us”) is an AI study workspace built for Tunis Business School students. This policy explains what information we collect when you use StudiPac, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the StudiPac web app and this marketing site.

Information we collect

Account information. Your name, email address, and password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text) when you create an account. If you sign in with a third-party provider like Google, we receive the basic profile information that provider shares with us.

Course and study activity. The courses you enroll in, the questions you ask Pac, and the study guides, flashcards, and exam attempts you generate or complete.

Your uploads. Any files or notes you personally upload into a course. These stay private to your account, they are never shared with other students, and Pac uses them only to answer your own questions.

Activation and payment coordination. Because semester passes are activated manually rather than through an online payment processor, we collect whatever contact details (e.g. a phone number or social handle) you share with us to arrange payment and activate your account.

Technical data. Standard technical information like device type, browser, and basic usage logs, collected to keep the service reliable and secure. We do not currently use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.

How we use your information

• To provide and operate your course workspaces, Pac, and generated study content.
• To activate and manage your account and semester pass.
• To respond to support requests and important account communications.
• To maintain the security, integrity, and performance of the service.
• To improve StudiPac based on aggregate, non-identifying usage patterns.

How Pac processes your questions

When you ask Pac a question, the relevant course material and your question are sent to the AI models that generate the answer and the embeddings that power search. Some of this processing may run on infrastructure operated by third-party AI providers. We only send what's needed to answer your question, and we don't use your questions or uploads to train third-party models beyond what's needed to serve your request.

Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that host our infrastructure, storage, and AI processing, and only to the extent needed to run StudiPac, or when required by law.

Data retention

We keep your account and study data for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we'll delete your personal information and uploads, except where we're required to retain something for legal or legitimate business reasons.

Your choices

You can access, correct, or delete your uploaded materials at any time from within the app. To request a copy of your data or full account deletion, message us on Instagram or Facebook at @studipac.

Security

We use industry-standard measures, such as password hashing and access controls, to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe and limit access to what's needed to operate the service.

Children's privacy

StudiPac is built for university students and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as StudiPac evolves. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and let active users know.
